Terms of Service

In order to have a good understanding between the Guest (you) and the Host, (Home Sweet Cooking), we ask our guests to read the Terms of Service.

Eligibility, Member Verification: To book a lesson at Home Sweet Cooking, you must be at least 18 years old or older or be in an organization or other legal entity in good standing under the laws of the country you are registered and able to enter into legally binding contracts. -For transparency and fraud prevention purposes, we may but have no obligation to ask Members to provide a form of government identification or other information to help verify the identities or backgrounds of Members. If you access or use Google Maps/Earth mapping services, you agree to Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service.

Reservations: All classes are reserved online from the Home Sweet Cooking website, using the Contact Form.
-Reservations will be considered final, once all the necessary information is provided and confirmed. You receive a reply by email from Home Sweet Cooking.
-Guests booking on behalf of additional guests are required to ensure that each additional guest meets any requirements set by Home Sweet Cooking, and is made aware of and agrees to these Terms and Conditions. 
-You may not bring any additional guests on the spot, without informing Home Sweet Cooking.  
-Young adults under 15 can participate only unless accompanied by an Adult who is legally authorized to act on behalf of the young adult and is responsible for them.
-The Adult accompanying the young adult participating in class is optional.

Cancellation & Refund Policy: Cancellations (made by Guests): If by any reason, the Guests need to cancel their confirmed booking, they must contact Home Sweet Cooking by email at their earliest. If cancellation notice is received and confirmed…
-7 days or more before the date of class, the full amount paid to us will be refunded.
-6 days～4 days before the date of class, 50% of the amount paid to us will be refunded.
-3 days or less, the payment is non-refundable. -No refunds will be made nor gift certificates will be distributed to the Guests who do not attend classes without prior notification.

Cancellations (made by Home Sweet Cooking): Due to any unavoidable incidents that may occur, e.g. typhoons, earthquakes, train accidents, sudden illnesses along with other emergencies, Home Sweet Cooking may cancel the reserved class. In this case, the Guest will be refunded in the full amount that was paid beforehand.

Payments: We ask our Guests to pay in advance for the purpose of securing reservations and preventing any cancellations.
-All payments are accepted in Japanese yen through bank wire. All other additional fees necessary to make the transfer, will be paid by the Guest. -You will receive a confirmation notice by email, once the transfer has been confirmed. 
Late Arrivals: We ask that all Guests arrive no later than 10 minutes before the starting time of the class. Classes will start on the dot as there will be other Guests waiting. If by any reason, the Guest is late, we ask that you notify Hiromi by phone:(OUTSIDE of Japan:+81 90 2255 5742) (WITHIN Japan: 090 2255 5742) or email: info.hscooking@nextdestination-eng.com. If 30 minutes pass and we do not hear from the Guests, this will be considered an absence without notification. Therefore, no refunds will be made nor gift certificates will be distributed to the Guests who do not attend classes without prior notification.
Responsibilities -Please make sure to inform Home Sweet Cooking for any medical or physical conditions beforehand that may impact the Guests` ability to participate.
–Home Sweet Cooking will not take any responsibilities for any losses, injuries, nor damages that may occur during the class. 
-We advise that you dress casually and comfortably to prevent any incidents so that we can all have an enjoyable time during the class. 
Feedback: -We welcome and encourage you to provide feedback, comments and suggestions for any improvements to classes at Home Sweet Cooking. You may submit your Feedback by emails, through the Contact section of Home Sweet Cooking website or by other forms of communication. Any Feedback you submit to us will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary to you. By submitting Feedback to us, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, sub-licensable, perpetual license to use and publish those ideas and materials for any purpose, without compensation to you.
