Ramen – Japanese Noodles

Learn from Chef Okano, on how to make Japanese noodles, called Ramen, of 3 different broths. You will definitely become the Chef of Ramen back home!

Chef Okano

How he became a Chef:
Chef Okano went to France and learned from the famous Bernard Loiseau Chef and owner of a 3 Michelin- starred restaurant. Currently, he himself is the owner chef of a Japanese restaurant in Tokyo.

His past accomplishments in Japan : Worked as a Vegetable Sommelier, created Frappuccino for major coffee shop chains, and is a Food Consultant to many companies.
Chef Okano also has Personal Training experience advising athletes and Professional Models on keeping fit from eating properly.
What you will learn from Chef Okano : He will introduce the expertise in making delicious, healthy meals at home that will make you crave for more.

Osechi – A box full of decorative fruits

Osechi is a Japanese traditional dish served when celebrating New Years. In our class, you will learn the beauty of Japanese fruits as Pâtissier Kaori will show you the many unique ways of cutting them in style.

Meet our Pastry Chef:

How she became a Pastry Chef: Pâtissier Kaori was originally an elementary school teacher at her hometown. Her passion lead to becoming a full-time pastry chef and currently has classes at her hometown and in Tokyo. Enjoy her desserts by getting hands-on experience. Her classes are especially popular for her  Vegan recipes. 

Her past accomplishments in Japan: Pâtissier Kaori has been Introduced in the media many times. She is a qualified pâtissier, and instructor in icing cookies, icing gingerbread cookies, bread decor, and chocolate arts. Her most recent qualification is a Jewelry Fruits Creator.

What you will learn from Pâtissier Chef Kaori: From working with kids for close to 20 years, she is very good with showing students how to design their work in detail. No need to worry if you don`t have any experience! Come free-handed and just enjoy!

1) Strawberry Daifukus are one of the most famous Japanese confectionery. Our rice cakes are vegan which are made out of Japanese rice flour. You can fill them with different fruits of your choice. In our class, you can enjoy them with strawberries, oranges, or chestnuts! Daifukus have a meaning of “great luck” so you will surely bring back some luck from Japan – a great way to start 2020!

2) Macha pudding. Enjoy the real taste of green tea from Japan.

Join us on the weekends! The difference with the other tours is that we`ll be visiting the Farmer`s Market and tasting the different patries. A new taste you won`t find at any supermarket! And for your final stop, we will be dining at one of the popular and recommended cake shops in Tokyo to be reserved, just for you.
